Visiting the European Commission to discuss Europe’s competitive position

11th of May, our co-founder Eva joined a panel at the European Commission in Brussels to discuss the future of venture capital and innovation in Europe. Together with leaders from across the ecosystem, we explored how Europe can position itself at the forefront of global tech, innovation, and competitiveness.

The message was clear: if there was ever a time for Europe to invest in technology and innovation, it’s now. We have the science. We have the talent. We have the capital — and the founders. What we need is the momentum and the willingness to cut through red tape and build a Europe that leads rather than lags.

In a truly inspiring session with John Berrigan of the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA), we discussed how the EU can strengthen its venture capital landscape — not just to regulate technology, but to build and scale it from within.

We’re deeply grateful to the organisers, fellow speakers, and an engaged audience for the thoughtful questions and energetic discussion.

This is Europe’s moment — let’s make it real. 🚀
