Rye raises €1M pre-seed, and we’re in!

We’re excited to announce that CapitalT, together with January Ventures, has co-led the €1 million pre-seed round in RYE, a London-based energy intelligence startup. The round was also joined by Earth and Norrsken Evolve.

RYE is on a mission to transform energy from a burden into a growth enabler for hospitality and retail businesses. With energy costs, outdated metering infrastructure, and complex billing threatening small and multi-site operators, RYE provides a smart platform that simplifies energy management while unlocking efficiency and scale.

Its solution combines on-site metering insights with advanced forecasting models, offering businesses real-time usage tracking, automated bill validation, dispute resolution, and simplified payments. By aggregating SME energy demand, RYE also opens up new opportunities for renewable energy procurement at competitive prices.
